How We Started

Luebstorf Marine Services started with the purchase of a 50 year old O’Day 22 sailboat intended as a project boat for our company’s founder, Zach Luebstorf. While working on the boat in its slip in the Orleans Marina, Zach attracted attention from the neighboring boat owners who wanted similar work done on their vessels, but were having trouble finding someone available to get it done. It did not take long for Zach’s freelance work to expand into a proper business focused on the renovation, upgrades, and surveys to recreational vessels located in the greater New Orleans area.
